Rocks + Windshield = Do'h

Just got a small chip in the windshield - about 1/6 area of a dime. Maybe 1mm deep.



Good new is that it is small and not in my direct line of site so there should be no issues with repair and glass distortion. Now the question is...anybody done these types of fixes and have some recommended vendors?



Via the internet, "safelite" seemed to be the most prevalent one...they any good?



Also...what can you tell me about DIY filling kits?
 
Safelite isnt the best out there, but they should be able to handle a windshield repair. Know that, they do have to drill it and there is a chance it can crack while drilling or while forcing the resin in.
