RO question

I'm still looking at buying an RO polisher, but since the PC is 110V and I think with shipping, VAT and a 230V->110V transformer it would become a bit pricey. Now I did a search here and saw that both the DeWalt DW443 and the Makita BO6040 are popular as well:)

Now is my question as I checked the internet sites from both company's, the Dutch as well as the US/intl. sites, what is it with the specs? As for both machines the US sites list a different speed?

Do I miss something here? It looks to me that both machines in Holland are different from the machines in the US, and because of that I'm afraid that both have too high speeds:rolleyes: Drives me a bit nuts actually lol:o Both machines I'm interested in if okay, the Makita would be a bit expensive though but maybe the DeWalt is a bit cheaper:)

Thanks for any help on this one:)

US electical system: 110v / 50 Hz

European: 220v / 60Hz

Schuursnelheid 8400-15200 opm (doubtful, I think this is an error)

I don't think the electrical insulation could handle the heat from this speed (anymore than you could hold on to the machines vibration / the paint could not take the friction heat.
