Saw a bottle of turtle wax rinseless at walmart yesterday.

Was 2oz/gal dilution, 2gal/wash recommended, and i believe about $6.50/32oz so 8 washes per bottle. The direction method was quite like a single bucket wash if i read correctly. I wont be trying it but i did find it interesting

I bought it a couple months ago at Advance Auto when they had it on BOGO.  I've used this rinseless several times and although I don't generally buy Turtle Wax products this is the real deal.  It works very well and if the car is not too dirty you can get by with 1 ounce per gallon with no problem at all.

<span style="font-family:tahoma, geneva, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size:18px;">There is a certain amount of product snobbery on every detail forum. If TW works and it's cheap/OTC then I don't have a problem with it. It's my understanding they, like Mothers at least have their own manufactoring facility. I bought some rinseless from Duragloss since it was about the same price as ONR and Duragloss is a local North Carolina company. But, wow - TW sure has a better price! Guess I'll have to try it when the DG runs out.

I have been using it for a few months now. I use a higher concentration than what it recommends but I think it works fine. Does not streak like the Griots rinseless wash does and cost half as much.

If you follow the directions the TW Rinseless is 2 OZs per gallon and 2 gallons per wash that's 4 OZs per wash at $5.58 per 33 OZ bottle that's about  8 washes per bottle.

If you follow ONR's directions at .5 ozs per gallon, 2 gallons per wash that's 1 oz per wash at $16 per 32 oz bottle for 32 washes--(even less expensive if you buy the gallon).

So for the TW to do 32 washes you need 4 bottles at $5.58 or $22.32

Just a thought!!!

I don't think it is a wash.....

256 gallons ONR for 40 bucks.

This makes ONR cost under 16 cents

per gallon. Tw costs almost 41 cents

per gallon.

Sure, this is comparing gallon ONR to

Tw 32 ounce, but no comparison in cost.

Plus, I would trust ONR on other surfaces.

For cost comparison, compare ONR 8 Oz to

Tw 32 Oz. Both make 16 gallons, and the cost

is about the same. I wouldn't trade ONR for Tw,

But maybe in a crunch

TW rinseless does a good job although you may not find it locally for much longer.  It seems all the auto supply stores has it on closeout.  I bought the last bottle Pep Boys had on the shelf today for $4.65.

That's a shame, sounds like a decent product that failed to get the sales from the average bubba's at Autozone/Pep Boys Etc. I bought AG Hi-Def wax (that was $60 at the on-line stores) for 10 bucks at Wally Mart - same thing, discounted to death cause it didn't fly off the self.

That said, I still have a lot of the Duragloss Rinseless Wash, and my next purchase is the new DG coating.

I was using ONR when I first started as a clay lube and quick detailer, but started using it as a waterless wash. I loved it. There is a guy that is out here in So Cal that released his "Eco-Shine" waterless wash and since I had a few other products of his, I gave it a shot. So far the ONR and the ShineSupply Eco-Shine has not disappointed.
