Rim Cleaning...

Alright ^^^ is the type of wheel I own (not the exact one in the pic, i wish I could fit rims that wide on my car :drool: )



Anyways, on one part of the lip, there is some grime or whatever that wont come off with regular car wash...Im wondering what is a safe way to remove it, without hurting the finish of the wheel...any suggestions?

do you know the material of the lip? i'm thinking maybe some sort of really mild metal polish like nxt polish? or maybe some sort of chemical cleaner like aio?

Not sure what the lip is made out of...which is what scares me lol

AIO is always safe to use. NXT all metal polish should be safe to use too, as would a gel wheel cleaner like P21S.

I think a picture of the dirty wheel would have been more helpful. However, in the absence of said picture I suggest using either wheel cleaner or maybe bug & tar remover. Also do you have any pics of your car? '93 Prelude was my first car. Love the dash!!

Nice! Mine was white with a pin stripe. Yuck! If I could go back in time I would shoot myself for getting a pin stripe. Also, I was steaming when they re-did the interior in '94 and added an armrest and a cupholder.
