Hello Everyone,

I am thinking about starting a detiling business and was wondering if anyone has reviewed the Rightlook video course on the subject.

I did a search of this forum, and found that the subject was discussed - but didn't seem to get an solid opinion.

The course is expensive (about $300) but may be a good investement if it can get me off to a good start.

Thanks very much for any thoughts!

I haven’t viewed the video but I would suggest you look through this forum for business ideas. DavidB also has an article on starting a detailing business on BetterCarCare.com

~Hope this helps~

Without actually seeing the videos, I have no idea if they are worth $300. If you have a general idea about detailing already, practicing would probably be more cost effective.

I have resently gotten that package. When I started in the car business, many years ago, I did detailing (before clearcoat paint) and have done some over the years so I had a little back ground. I have watched the tapes twice and have found a lot of usefull info and am reading through the manual now which gives more exact info then the tapes, which is what they tell you from the start. I am just starting my business, first fliers go out today, and I believe it was a good investment. Also Rightlook has been a great help along the way. If you plan to start a business I would recomend them, though for just doing your own work I believe they are a little costly.

I have this package as well. I have gotten mine off ebay, for about 120 dollars. It is well worth 300 or more in my opinion. The manuals alone are that in value. They take you step by step through everything, from begining to end. The videos rock!! I have learned more from that rightlook system then any other video or books i have.

The rightlook videos are great. I just got mine and so far have only watched the car wash and interior detail ones so far.

I have been detailing for over 20 years and I detail very simiular to what is shown on the videos.

I bought them as a training aide for my employees.
