I just installed the following over the past few weeks:

Mach 1 Chin Spolier, Mach 1 Grill Delete, Window Tint, aqnd I shortened the stock silver antenna to about 8" and painted it black for a cleaner apperance.

(not my house)

From a fellow black stang owner.. Looks killer. The chin spoiler just looks mean, and cutting the boat mast (antenna) gives it a cleaner look. I suggest a drop courtesy of eibach or h&r.

1) Does that license plate say what I think it does?

If 1=Yes

2) Does the driver understand the point he conveys to others on a daily basis? (not that there's anything wrong with that)

LA--very clean look--does that antenna provide the same reception as the oem?

Looks a lot better than this Mustang (and 'rice' does apply!).

thinksnow-yes, the plate says "FLAME N"

I have no idea what or even if the driver thinks. Probably went down the accessory aisle at Walmart and bought everything.

Looks like your typical V6 owner, I sure hope it is cause it would be a shame if that was a true Cobra as the badging indicates.

back on topic,

Thanks.

No, I did not notice much of a difference with the radio.

I just chopped it off with a hacksaw, took off the factory end cap?, then sanded the new tip down so the little ball would fit on. I used metal epoxy to put the cap on. For the antenna paint I used Rustoleum Automotive primer, 2500 grit wetsand, 3 coats black rustoleum (gloss) wetsanding with the 2500 between coats, and a final finish with 3M Machine Glaze to polish it out.

I know alot of work for the little antenna, but I really enjoy doing this kind of stuff, and it looks like factory paint.

The chinspoiler (for those of you who don't know it is that little plastic trim piece on the bottom 2" of the front bumper) was installed with additional 3M heavy duty exterior double sided tape as well as the little trim clips.

And OF COURSE, the chinspoiler was dressed with some AIO :D
