Curious if anyone knows what happen to this product it was suppose to be the holy grail of detailing clays.
I myself migrated to the nano skin, last time I checked its not available here or autogeek just wondering out loud.

Huh, not sure if its still available or not these days...I bought a lifetime supply when the old Autopia store closed it out.

actually they came back to the US a couple years ago and we carry our own version ... it was never called Ricardo (that was just what EShine in Canada named it after his Uncle) it was originally called Erazer Clay ... I was one of the few who stood with them during the law suits and was one of the first called when it was available ;)

Interesting, Thanks for the insight.....

Ron, Pockets told me their newer poly clay is easier to mold. I bought Clay Magic since my hands cramp when using it.
Do you have the newer stuff.
Maybe Steve can add to this too.

..[a particular clay].. doesnt dry out...

AFAIK, clays in general dont dry out. Ive had pieces stuck to the top of lube bottles/buckets for a long, long, time without ever going bad. Cant recally *any* clay going bad except some stuff I stored soaking in lube (which was as per the instructions...live and learn).

you got a crate of claybars or what?

Read his user name again....

I noticed with Poorboy`s clay, it even gets a bit softer when stored in a "hot" environment. I left the container in the car for several days, and it gets pretty warm in there right now. When I went to use it, super pliable.

well I hope he draws me for secret santa and I get a fancy clay bar or two :)

been trying to buy that from acc for a while

Heh heh, guess that`d depend on how big something has to be to qualify as a "crate" ;)

But seriously, I have a lifetime supply of this particular clay, not sure how many but more than I`ll ever use.

I *am* down to maybe two-three bars of Sonus SFX though, maybe twice that number of the awfully-aggressive batch of Sonus Gray that slipped through their QC between their "Block" days and the intro of Sonus Green and Gray as two levels of aggressiveness.

Never counted `em all up but part of a shelf is covered with a pile of claybars. And "lifetime supply" for me won`t be the same as for others and I just don`t clay all that often any more. In fact, I do it (or decontamination in general) so infrequently that it`s one of my Autopian Heresies!

All of my clays do that, at least to some extent (unless I`m forgetting something). In the winter I set the clay under a Radiant Heater, or at least wrap it in aluminum foil and put it in my pocket, to soften it up before use.

Just yesterday, I was telling my wife how you have so much "accumulated" product! Told her I`d really be interested on what your shelves look like :)

Good tip! I hadn`t noticed it before, but then I`d been using the clay pad style for decon.
