Your Riccardo clay will stretch out 3 times more then the Mothers clay will before tearing appart. I have a small stash of the "old school" clay left that I use sparingly. Looks cool doing this (old Smart Clay)

howareb said:I will give my two cents after seeing both in action. The "elastic clay" is so easy to work with and knead. It sticky (even when wet) and it does not harden up like blue clay magic does when it gets wet. I guess in short you have to work with it to apperciate its great value.

porta said:David, honestly it was years ago I used the blue AM clay. But I have used the Sonüs grey and I prefere the "elastic clay". I have some blue and purple clay, but they are not from AM but I guess one of them is almost the same as AM blue clay. The reason I use the "elastic clay" is beacuse I get them cheaper then AM.

Sounds like I need a friend in Canada.
No, like Jesstzn said you don't need it. I normally I just use car wash solution or if I'm not washing the car I'll just grab a QD that is handy (usually Quik Shine). Guess I should start using an ONR mix instead of Quik Shine, it'd be cheaper and I usually keep some mixed up to pre-treat in a garden sprayer.ron350 said:If I can get hold of some Riccardo yellow clay do I need to purchase the Riccardo Spray lube?
