I did this car a couple of months ago and just never posted. I usually never take much pics even though I do alot of cars, but that is going to change. this is my first click and brag, but definitely not my last. Feedback is extremely welcome :chuckle:
process:
-wash with meguairs gold class soap
-clay with pinnacle polyclay (using meg's QD as clay lube)
-meg's #85 via SM Arnold Wool pad and rotary @1700 r.p.m.
-meg's #83 via 3M white waffle cutting pad and rotary @1400 r.p.m.
-meg's #82 via SM arnold green polishing pad and pc @ speed 3 then
-detailer pro synthetic paint sealent and color "deepener" via black finishing pad w/ pc @ speed 3(u.v.,environmental, rain, snow, etc.) this stuff lasts 6-8 months plus!!!!
-blend of meg's gold class and detailer pro "conniseurs satin creme" (blend of five of the worlds top carnuaba waxes) via finishing pad and pc @ speed 3 as LSP
- trim detailer on all plastics
-MTI dressing on fender wells (water based gloss agent)
-Stoner's invisible glass on windows
sorry no before pics; the car was heavily oxidized and swirled and also had etching in the paint from a sprinkler system. the client was picking the car up as he was in a rush, so that is him in the driver seat. I asked if i could sneak in a quik photo session, even though the sun started to go down. i think it came out okay. (total time 7 and a half hrs.)
