I have been using this shampoo for a few months now and was just about to run out when I won this one so the timing could not have been better. The price point Autopia Car Care Products - Car Detailing Supplies, Car Wax, Car Polishers, Auto Detailing is $15.99 for the 32oz bottle but I have seen it on sale for less a few times. Scent of PB SS&S is one of my favorites being green apple.
Description
Super Slick & Suds is a safe and easy formula that quickly and gently removes: dirt, oils and road grime, (without removing wax or sealants), then rinses free of residue
Super Slick & Suds is very economical to use, environmentally safe and it’s pH neutral
Directions
Use on a cool surface. Rinse vehicle with water to remove heavy mud or grime. For washing an individual vehicle, place approximately 1oz of Super Slick & Suds into a bucket with every 2 gallons of water. Using a soft washing mitt, place it into the bucket & thoroughly soak the mitt. Wash in a back and forth motion, to prevent surface marring or swirl marks. Do one section at a time and then rinse well, until the vehicle is fully clean, remember to rinse the mitt after each panel in a separate clean bucket of water. For commercial use and multi-vehicle washings, we recommend using 2oz per 5 gallons of water.
For the pre-rinse I filled the foam gun up with warm water and added about 1-1/2oz of PB SS&S. Of course I didn’t have to worry as much washing the car at night and the paint being cool but I have used this in the day time too and it always rinses clean. I let it dwell for a couple minutes and rinsed to remove some dirt and debris before washing.
Next filled the bucket with about 3 gallons of water, eye balled 1-1/2 ounce of shampoo and hit it with a strong stream of water. As you can see if foams up really nice and big. Even though that should be enough I do not feel that this soap is slick enough just from a sudsy bucket so I always add a little shot to each side of the wash mitt and a little on the inside. I like my wash mitt to be as slick as possible.
This time around I didn’t use it as a clay lube but I have before. After the wash I fill my foam gun up with water and 2oz of PB SS&S and put the foam gun on the most open setting. I choose to use this only with the clay alternative mitt or block that I have. I have used a clay bar with it before but I do not feel like it is slick enough so if you are going to use a clay bar maybe stick to using a traditional clay lube. Overall I really like this shampoo. I have only tried a few different shampoos but this is one of the best that I have.
Thanks for looking.
