Review: Polish Angel Gold Zirkon

Here is my review of Polish Angel Carnuba Arts Gold Zirkon Spray wax:

Description:
Polish Angel Carnauba Arts Gold Zirkon is a highly effective spray wax with the shimmer of gold! A coating of this incredible product takes just minutes to apply and provides lasting protection with unmatched shine. Polish Angel Carnauba Arts Gold Zirkon works wonders on vehicles with metallic flake in the paint, but can be used on all paints.

When your vehicle’s paint needs attention but time is an issue, a spray wax provides the perfect solution. Polish Angel Carnauba Arts Gold Zirkon is a spray wax and so much more! Containing 10% extracted and reduced gold-plated carnauba flakes, Polish Angel Carnauba Arts Gold Zirkon offers an amazing, shimmering shine that other spray waxes can only dream about. Each application yields durable protection from the elements and the warm, deep carnauba glow that makes paint look wet.

Polish Angel Carnauba Arts Gold Zirkon takes as little as 15 minutes to apply to a vehicle, yet gives the impression of an afternoon spent waxing to perfection. Paint is left smooth, glassy, and protected from environmental contaminants. Polish Angel Carnauba Arts Gold Zirkon is the first spray wax in the world to incorporate gold-plated carnauba flakes in its formula and with the results it produces, you can be sure that there will be many imitators to follow.

Price:
500ml - $99.99

Directions:

1. Spray a small amount on surface
2. Then immediately wipe on and off with a microfiber towel
3. Work a section at a time
4. Don't let dry on surface

This was a very simple product to use. As you can see in the pictures you can actually see the Gold flakes, wether actual gold or not
:dunno:
One spray spread over half the hood, and also one spray did an entire door. In all my 2011 Taurus used 12 sprays. It actually added a gold shimmer to the metallic; the car usually shows silver, purple, and green flake. I topped PA Master sealant with this. I have driven through a few rain storms and it actually seems to shed road grim. The beading and sheeting is like nothing I have ever seen. One thing to note was car was extremely slick after application, However after washing the paint felt like I had just finished polishing, but was beading and sheeting like crazy. I can flood the door and maybe 5 small droplets remain.

Pros:
Ridiculously easy to use
Performs better than any paste wax I have used
Outlast any spray wax I have used

Cons:
Price

Conclusion:

I would not hesitate to buy this as a special product for personal use. It would be hard to use this for profit detailing, unless it was for someone where price is no option and wants the gold shimmer.

Great review, thanks

But not gonna buy this product

Thank you.

I actually thought the same thing when I first heard of PA and got sticker shock. After using it though I would replace with a smaller version of this. The compund/polish and master sealant are too good not to buy when I run out. The prices are not terrible fore the aforementioned products, and IMHO you get what you pay for with these products. They were such a pleasure to use.

Glad you love the PA products they really are on another level. I haven't met anyone that hasn't absolutely loved them. Great review, thank you!

I will try their polishes, and wax/sealant line. But I will not order a sundae with gold flakes in it, nor will I use a spray wax/qd with them in it.

IMHO, that is useless (as I said IMHO)

Nice review, but what a strange product. I really can't see where I would use it. Maybe on a white car? Unmatched shine. I'm trying but just can't get there.

The product is made for metallic paint, the have others on the PA site made for color specific application. My guess is that Autopia carries this one since it can be used with any paint. It also can be used as a topper to the cosmic coating. Which I am trying to decide whether to use the cosmic or viking coat after fixing some rock chips.

Thanks for the feedback! I think this product was made for my Toreador Red Pearl Metallic. You should try it out as a drying aid. I've only tried it as a drying aid and it really impressed me.

I'm starting to think all Polish Angel products bead/sheet like crazy.

I will put up a pic in a few, but it rained last night and this morning driving to work. The car looks like I just drove through a small puddle.

It makes me excited to see how the coating performs if the sealant and spray wax perform like this.
