Review: Pinnacle Micro Rejuvenator MF Detergent

I just had a chance to test out this detergent on my heavily soilded concourse buffing towels ($14.95 each) from DavidB at Autopia-carcare. I usually use these towels as a final buff of my LSP, but the reason they were heavily soiled is because my non-autopian brother used them to apply tire dressing and to clean his wheels with them.

I did not think that this detergent can restore the towels back to their original white softness, as pinnacle claims with this prodcut; therefore, I didn't take pictures of them before the wash since I had no hope.

Boy was I wrong. Following instructions on the bottle by adding 1oz per load, the towels have never felt softer and looked this new since I purchased them. This is by far the best MF cleaning detergent that I have used. If you have heavily soild MF and cotton towels, use this detergent.

I will post before and after pictures before I clean another load of towels. I just wanted to share my excitement with you.:xyxthumbs :up

:scared :scared :scared

.... and you still call him your brother? :lol

MicroRejuvenator is a great product. Nothing leaves my towels softer & newer feeling.

It is a bit pricey though so I tend to only use it for large loads of towels. For smaller loads (and normal laundry) I have been using Charlies' Soap.

I could see it......WOW...look at this nice WHITE...SOFT....CLEAN towel....guess I will use it to wipe on my tires!!!

No harm though......I have some of that microrejuvanator (free from Autogeek giveaways)....glad to hear it works that well.

WOW....:angry :angry :angry :angry

I just used the the Pinnacle MF rejuvanator this morning to do a load of MF towels. Very easy to use. Towels are a rack drying. They were heavily soiled after cleaning my car last night from this winter mess.

I will ck out the softness tomorrow and report.

Seems like a great product....:xyxthumbs

That's what I was thinking: don't you see that these are nice clean towels! If it was not for pinnacle, I think I would have disowned him. Just kidding. Actually, he just tried out some of my P21S and was amazed at what it did for his car. Of course, he used too much product, but I'm working on converting him to an autopian

Have you tried any of the other MF detergents such as Micro-Restore? Just wondering how they all compare to each other.

Glad you were able to save the CBT's, they are very nice towels!

I have the Micro-Restore, and the first time I used it, I washed a bunch of MF towels, a couple of which had Meg's #40 Vinyl and Rubber treat on them...I wound up washing them about 4 times to get the smell out, finally using some regular liquid laundry detergent along with the Micro-Restore and hot water. For regular circumstances the M-R seems to be fine, but I was thinking of trying the Pinnacle or the Charlie's...anybody have an opinion on whether the dedicated (M-R, Pinnacle, Sonus) are really all the same thing, perhaps with a different smell? The price on the dedicated detergents is kinda intimidating...even if you get up to a gallon of Pinnacle it's still $50.

I've also tried the micro-restore and my feelings are that it will not completely remove stains from your MFs but like pinnacle makes them softer. I've also found that the more you wash MFs the better and softer they feel.

I'm wondering how well the sonus detergent works. I have the entire sonus line and they are top of the line. Their detergent should be no exception.

I have used both Micro-restore and Sonus Wunder Wash for MF and foam cleaning. I find the Sonus stuff to be much better at brightening my Sonus big yellow, red, and black foam applicators. The towels seem to come out brighter with the Sonus stuff too. But, I think both detergents smell bad. Now I'm looking for a less expensive way to clean MF towels and foam applicators
