Process: This is my wife’s 2013 Honda CRV, back in August it was coated with DP paint coating. First thing I did was give the car a rinseless/waterless bath with Gary Deans IUDJ and removed bugs on the bumper with Garry Deans APC.
Next the car was clayed and polished to remove (with m205) the DP coating. Moving to remove polishing oils; I used a garden sprayer with 42 oz of water and 1 oz of Megs d114 and let the car soak and proceeded to give the car a rinsless wash with D114. After drying I moved on to DP coating prep by hand.
Notes on using coating prep: I have seen numerous comments about how difficult coating prep was to remove or it causes glare on the windshield and even streaks. I hate to say this but its user error, coating prep is really easy to use; I made a short video showing what I did. Couple drops of coating prep on a section of the car, rub in with applicator, remove it WET with MF towel. Flip the MF towel often
because it does need multiple wipes to remove it.

Next I proceeded to apply Diamond Surface coating with the LC coating applicator on all the glass, headlights, paint, and the taillights. Overall the look to me is the same as the standalone 850 paint coating (which is a great thing!!!). Applying the product was a bit more difficult than standalone 850, probably more similar to DP paint coating. Also I did notice streaking on the CRV but this was from the 100% humidity…with the high spots and streaking on the windows they were a bit more difficult to remove, and luckily I didn’t notice much on the paint. The reason I do blame streaking on the humidity is, couple of weeks ago I did use it on couple of other cars and I had zero streaking issues:inspector:. Note on the sprayer: top notch, all spray coatings and sealants should come in this type of bottle.
Sorry I have limited pics, my garage is small and it was raining later on that evening. Will update on durability and dust repellency.
And once again big thanks to the Stig and PBMG for letting me test and play with the product before hand :rockon.
