I wanted to see how these two products did applied at the same time. The Lexol is Available at most parts stores while the Einszett is only Available through mail order(at least I havn't seen it locally)
The Lexol is around $7-$10 for 16 oz.
While the Einszett is $12.95 through mailorder (I mean Autopia)
I used Lexol Vinylex and EINSZETT Tiefenpfleger on my bed cover. I put the Lexol on the driver's side and the Tiefenpfleger on the pass. side.
I DIDN'T clean the cover before I applied these products to see how they would clean and adhere to a dirty surface.
The Lexol went on and more or less "floated" over the surface. While the Einszett "dug in" and cleaned.
They both spread very easy. (I sprayed each product directly on the surface than just wiped them in)
After a few minutes I could see the Lexol was still shiny while the
Einszett started to "matte".
The Lexol was still kind of staying on the surface(could feel with fingers) while the Einszett was dry.
I DID not wipe the excess off.
I also did all the rubber on each side of the truck to see how they stood up on rubber and hard plastic. On my mirrors (Plastic) the Lexol smeared very bad, infact I had to put more on and buff to get the coverage uniformed. The Einszett didnt have that problem. It is supposed to rain here tonight so we will see how they fair with durablility.
WIll keep you posted in the next few days.
Right now I am favoring the Einszett over the Lexol
