Review: Koala-soft Towels

I've always used microfiber towels to buff wax off my Porsche. I had a couple unused Koala-soft towels from some CMA package or another that I decided to use when cleaning my Range Rover today since I was running low on clean MFs.

Wow! The Koala-soft towels pull the wax right up with virtually no effort. I'm sold, I feel they are much easier to use than MFs for removing wax. So far, I used them with Medallion Premium Paint Cleaner, #9 SMR, Klasse AIO, and Klasse SG. I did have a harder time with the SG though, and pulled out a MF to finish that job. For all the others, the Koala-soft towels were a dream.

I bought them in bulk and can't wait to use them. I was planning on using them for DACP and #9 and then switching to MF's for glaze and wax removal.

However, I washed them and the lint in the dryer was immense. I had to clean the filter 3 times during the drying process. I used a little a woolite and warm water. After they came out of the dryer (low heat) they are still just as fluffy!

Hmmm,

I tried the Koala towel about a year ago and had the hardest time removing Pinnacle Paste Glaz. It got all gummed up and did not remove the Paste Glaz anywhere near as well as a good MF towel. I don't even use the Koala towel anymore.
