Restoring a friends red explorer - Please Help!!

My friends 1997 red explorer has oxidation and hazing and I am going to restore the paint tomorrrow, but I dont have a pc and can only do hand application and products are limited to those that are locally available, I was thinking about doing a clay then colorx and nxt wax, does this sound good? or should I use scratchx? Thanks!
 
I'd probably be more inclined to use Scratch-X instead of ColorX, but have a stronger product than Scratch-X handy "just in case". It kind of depends on just how bad the paint is, really.



I'm sure you must be able to find some kind of fine cut product or DACP or something locally?
