restored el camino!

zesty-man

how do ya like it?
8 months ago, my dad put his rusty el camino into the shop to get it redone. the paint, the body, and everything. well, i think it was well worth the wait, check it out. however, what sucks is that i cant polish it for 6 weeks, according to scott (the guy that restored and painted my dad's car). what makes this el camino so special is the shift stick. notice that its in the middle of the car, instead of rite next to the streering wheel. thats what my dad claims. he said that his friend offered to buy his el camino, just because he wanted the shifter... heres some pics

finally, heres the interior of it. notice the snap-on mats :P. my dad works for snap-on tools. ironically, i dont know how to opeate a wrench. also, under those seats are a couple of bass amps. interior need some work, but in time its gonna look good (i hope).

Hi zesty-man...

The El Camino looks great! I can't wait until I get my hands on it. :lmfao Let me know when.

zesty-man . . . now that's what I call a car ! Very nice !!! :bigups

I think beemerboy is right about using 3M IHG while the paint cures, but just to be safe check with Scottwax. I applied 3M glaze to my freshly painted bumper without a problem.
