Replacing the daily driver...

DaGonz

Autopia fire/rescue.
Well, the time has come for me to replace my daily driver... not out of my necessity, but my son's. He is in a relationship with a woman who has twins from a previous marriage and they are expecting a child in May. He needs a vehicle for her that is reliable and wil have room for three car seats; she is driving a Dodge Neon that it is on its last legs.

My son will be buying the Jeep, I am going to be purchasing a pre owned 2009 Ford F150 XLT Supercab from the same Ford store I bought 4 of my last 5 vehicles from. I decided to go pre owned as the costs are lower for insurance and excise taxes. The truck has 29K miles on the odometer and drives like brand new, it already has a bedliner and tonneau cover and the dealer is putting 4 new tires on it as part of the deal. The stable will be totally blue oval!

This is the truck I bought.. these are from the dealer's website... I pick it up on Friday.

Nice, white is a great color for trucks. Swirls are hard to see too. Any plans on doing a coating?

Eventually... while the temperatures so far in the last couple of months have been way above average, winter in New England is not really conducive to detailing... I'll wait until spring before I do the full tilt "Autopian" detail.
