Although she looked cool all in purple, we wanted to push the envelope a little more...

Mike Face Custom Paint did a great job detailing out every inch. First he took her all apart and painted all the seams that would normally be hidden. But he wanted this to look as though is was a stock, not custom, color so it was a necessary and tasty step. He then laid on a flawless House of Kolor two-tone kandy Pavo Purple paint scheme with ghost flames, with traditional "old-school" pearl flames over top. Flames and pinstriping by 'lil Louie. And about 10 coats of clear bury the pinstrips leaving a smooth as glass finish.

Her first debut was last weekend at the Corvettes of Bakersfield show in Primm NV. There she took home 2 Corvette Clubs Best of Show Certificates. We were so proud. :woot:

She is really something to see.

The folks from Vette Magazie are shooting her tomorrow. We'll have more pict then, and I'll post them a soon as I can.

:wavey

The location is the Sepulveda Dam in Van Nuys, CA. It's been in a lot of movies like China Town, the Italian Job and Gatika. A very popular place to shoot.

The Vette is kept in Pasadena, CA in the Dean's garage or in front of our office on a sunny day.

Close up of hood.

wow, nice build up! you driven it?

Venron

Well, I haven't driven it... YET! But it is driven. Last week we drove it to Primm Nevada for the Corvettes of Bakersfield show and this week we're driving her down to Del Mar.

Dean (my biz partner and vette owner) gets the honors while I get to drive behind in my Sports Trac with all the show stuff.
