anyone,

how do u remove any water spots on the black window and roof trim that is common on the acuras. the water spots are only a couple weeks old from the last wash. I do not want to cover them up with any back to black protectant or anything of that nature. I just want to remove them WITHOUT STAINING THE TRIM , or discoloring it. u think maybe vinegar? i just do not want to fade the color or dry it out.

Thanks guys............

If they are rubber just rub them with a wet cotton cloth and it should clean right up. A little 50:50 mix of IPA:H20 will work as well. You can even use a trim cleaner or a protectant. Just rub in with a cotton cloth. It will turn the cloth black.

If they are not rubber but plastic or metal then use a finishing polish or AIO type of product.

Ultra gloss super polish works a treat on all of my cars very sensitive trim. Should be fine for yours. Clearkote VM is another one.

i used megs #66 on a RV that was heavily water spotted....got all them out and I confirmed they were still gone and the trim was looking good a month later when I went back to do their truck....worth a shot...
