Removing tire protectant overspray from driveway?

Can anyone give me suggestions on how to remove NXT Tech Protectant overspray from my driveway? That's what I get for spraying the tires in poor lighting!

Thanks in advance.

P.S. I did a search and didn't get any hits

A chemical degreaser of some kind is about your only option. Thats one of the downfalls of solvent based dressings like NXT.

ZEP makes a product called tire dressing neutralizer for this. All I know is we had a 55 gallon drum of it at my old job we tried as a degreaser. That's the only time I have ever seen or heard of the stuff though. Maybe you can get more info from ZEP.

It's a little late now, but unless the vehicle is parked on dirt or crushed stone, it's usually a good idea to apply tire protectants by spraying the protectant onto an applicator, then wiping it onto the tire. Anywho, you'll probably have to use a strong detergent and a stiff bristle scrub brush in an attempt to remove the stains on the driveway.

I had the same problem, everytime it rained my drive would "grow" little moon shaped stains where the water was not penetrating the concrete. I tried using A2Z and it worked first time, just spray, scrub with an old brush and hose down. Problem solved.

I've found A2Z to turn black asphalt grey

Spray the tire dressing on an applicator only then apply. Use of a water based one is your safest bet.

Yep I heard that too, Asphalt is a whole different story. I am only suggesting to use A2Z on undyed, unfinished "natural" concrete.

Yeah, concrete is really the way to go :up

For those with asphalt driveways just trying using your strong chemicals with the car parked in the street.

Anyway, back to whats relevant here....A good APC should do the trick without any problems....My first suggestion would be Castrol Super Clean.
