Removing deep plastic scratch on headlight *pic*

hey guys,



i've read the forum on plastic headlights but i don't know how much saving i can do to these headlights. any idea if i can make this somewhat look savagable?



i have pc, but i'm still not too good with it.

Honestly?



Doubt you'll be able to get it out. It looks pretty deap..If these were hair line scratches or even a few deeper than that, then you could wet sand it out, then polish. These however look like gashes.
 
what's the best i can do to get rid of the gashes? how noticeable will it be in the end?

Hi, I've seen you on the clubrsx.com boards.



I had a few bigger scratches in a JDM HID set of headlights I had bought.



I didn't get them perfect but I did fix them up a lot by wetsanding them. I followed the wetsanding by Meguires Plastic Polish (not PlastiX but the other product that is in 2 seperate bottles, forget the #s).



Anyways, good luck with it.

1500grit wetsand then polish? how noticeable were the scratches afterwards?
