Anyone have suggestions? I took a pic of what I'm dealing with, see attached. I have this client on a regular maintenance package so next time out I need to be able to fix this. I google'd & searched it on here with no luck. Thanks everyone

what have you tired so far? Wash?, Steam?, APC? Extractor? ... that is cloth:inspector: correct?

I've washed, APC'd, extraction, no steam available, but I've even tried GoJo and rubbing it very light, but to no luck.

This is on a BMW 650i. I'd prefer not to experiment anymore and just get it done. I'd hate to dull, fray, or stain it even worse. Thanks for any advice

Two words in cleaning material or vinyl convertible tops.

Ragg Topp

Its the only one that I trust to clean effectively. What I would do on those is wet the area, use the Ragg Topp cleaner.let that dwell for a minute or two then use a soft plastic brush like a children tooth brush to rub the area gently. That will lift the stain. I've done it many times on plenty of material tops just like that. Then once dry spray on the protectant...it will look like a new top.:rockon

Before you buy anything call my friend Rick

(770) 395-0020 or (800) 377-4700

he owns Ragg Top and can probably tell you honestly if you can get it out or if the top will need to be dyed or replaced to repair the stains ;)

my favorite quote to customers " they call it a stain for a reason"

Thanks Steve, I just spoke with him and its not looking too good. Owner's left in on there too long.

Good to know though, his formulas for RaggTop are actually an exact match of the ones used in the process of making all domestic and european convertible tops. I thought that was interesting

You might suggest using liquid black show polish to dab those areas...just a thought is all

Seeing this in person would be better, but I did BMW rag last year, that had tons more BP on it than that one..and I got all the stains if you will out using the Ragg Topp. Unless the acid in the BP took the color out of the material..again from the pics it doesn't look at way to me.

I guess I'll have to try some out. What could it hurt? Worst comes to worst I have nearly an entire bottle of RaggTop product in stock and there's a good chance I'll come across another convertible in this line of work. Thanks for the help
