remove those pesky spiderweb..how?

Deep scratch guy.
Hi guys,

I was trying to get these spidetweb out from my buddy car. I'm using PC 7424 with Meg DACP,Meg #83,Meg #80, and AIO. That darn thing still appear, IF you stared under neath of halogen light or street lamp pole, you will see it. You can't hardly see with your reg Joe's eyes.....unless you start tilting and move your head in all sort of angles then you probably will noticed.

See if these correct. A Spiderweb is when you see these little fine scratches around the lighting area.

Swirls is longer fine scratch that you dont even need light source to see it?

thanks

Thanks for the reply.... Dang, maybe I shoud get a bottle of MIP and MFP.

But #83 and #80 should take those spiderweb out. Im using the Sonus orange pad btw for #83 and #80. And LSP I use the blue pad.

Did I use the pad incorrectlly?

These are just tips on how to prevent them or help preventing them. It doesn't help your problem now. Do a search. There's tons of threads on Megs DACP removing swirls.

A couple of coats of SG will help preventing them. Use two buckets to wash one with soap and another to rinse. Use chinnelle mits or towels. Rinse all heavy dirt you can see don't use a mit to remove, because you will just spread it around and that's what will make spider swirls. Don't use those brushes at the car wash.

I would still stick with your 83 and 80. IP and FP can be a little user unfriendly when used with a PC sometimes. People have posted some pretty serious transformations using this combo, it's just going to take some time. Move very slowly over the surface, and let the polish do it's magic.

It may be that you need more heat and friction to level down the paint to get at those last stubborn marks.

I don't use a PC much nor the Meguiar products but I have seen great work performed with them. As noted do some searching.

OR just hide them as best you can with a good glaze and live with them:nixweiss

Im going order CMA yellow cutting pad and see. The Sonus orange pad are pretty stiff/hard. I was wondering if the CMA yellow cutting pad, its just harder as the Sonus or softer?
