Remove a coating

I put CQuartz on a car about a year ago, and since I didn't do it quite right, I need to remove the coating and do it again. I've read that it can be removed with using a polish, will Meguiars 205 do the job? I also have 105 available.
 
I can't get CQUK to stick to anything. I have removed it from my car by hand with Menzerna PO85RD which is probably the lightest finishing polish that money can buy. Honestly, 205 might be overkill. Try the least aggressive method available to you first.
