If you think that looks good, then wait till you get another 7 coats on there. :) I love Klasse on white. When you hit the top of the Klasse shine then get some Pinnacle Paste Glaz or Souveran and start adding that on. :up
 
Good job Chris! I dig how Klasse makes white so reflective and wet, not an easy thing to do with white.



I'm using Klasse on my daily driver truck. I primarily started using it because of its durability. The truck is a crew cab long bed so it just doesn't make sense to me to use something that isn't going to hold up well. I got the durability and then some. With 3 coats of SG on the truck and 5 coats on the hood it has terrific reflectivity. With the recent rains we had the Klasse weathered very well too. It beads up with zeal and looks like I just wiped off the SG after each wash. It also appears to hold up well to stains from sap and bird bombs by not allowing them to adhere to the paint. :xyxthumbs



I was experimenting with applying SG with the PC again today. The first time I used SG I used the grey CMA pad but applied too much material which made it difficult to buff off. This time, being more Klasse savvy, I used much less product on the same grey pad and prepped the pad with two squirts of QD.



This worked much better than the first try with the PC however I think I'll go back to hand application for SG. The reason being that I don't think it is faster or easier with the PC. Since the SG doesn't have to rubbed in to the surface but merely wiped on, I think I'll be better off just sticking with my Viper MF applicator. Another reason is that the PC can't get all of the nooks and crannys so a hand applicator is still necessary.



I also experimented with buffing the SG off with a Viper MF bonnet over my wool cutting pad. This worked ok however what worked best was using a wet then wrung out MFT and a dry MFT. The moist one gets off the dry cured SG and the dry towel does the final buffing.
 
Sweet MB, and very nice shine on them. Come to think of it, I haven't detailed a white car yet. The shine on yours is amazing!

Your car looks great with 5 coats of SG! Very reflective, and I especially like the first hood shot showing the curves.



Several months back I was at our local MB dealer looking at a C240 myself. It was a dark red, much like the color I have now, except it was a bit darker. I really liked the car inside and out, so I'm keeping it on my list of potentials whenever I get my new car.

Hey all,
I just cleaned up my neighbor's Infiniti FX35. I noticed that her black trim around the windows as well as the windshield wipers were really dull. As was the trim on the bottom of the car. How would you go about bringing back a nice deep black finish to these parts?
 
I am a huge fan of Ultima Tire and Trim Guard. If you look in this thread of mine you can see some 50/50 of it.

Smart Car Clean Up

The Ultima line is one I wish PAC would pick up. I use their interior, trim, and paint sealant and like them all.
 
Im not sure if its plastic... I dont know what the trim is around windows on most car...rubber? I really want a product that will work well on that trim around windows as well as the plastic on the bottoms/wipers.
 
I've used Meguiar's ultimate protectant on that kind of trim and it seems to work and wear well. Just did my truck this weekend and it really brings that nice deep black out. Just remember to work it in well.

UTTG was my favorite trim protectant until I used GTechniq C4. Nice new car look and will last up to two years. Did a 50/50 on my wiper cowl and in 4 months UTTG was spotting and GTech looks like the day I put it on.

Thats interresting. I have G1 in the mail as we speak, I am anxious to try it out. If it does well then I will probably branch out in the Gtechniq line. I was looking into C1 but it costs about $50 per application and Opti Coat that I have is only about $35 so for now I will stick with Opti Coat for paint coatings.

Do you by chance have a pic of C4?
