NASIOC Member DickWRX needed his Red S2000 detailed recently, and since he recently came over and took professional pics of my daughters, I owed him a detail on his car. Well, he's looking to sell it so was time to repay him.

It was pretty late when I started and it was starting to get dark out, so I didn't get many pics:

I started with the standard Meguiars #83 on the hood but that didn't cut it enough. The hood had either rock chips or fisheye type blemish, but not near the front of the hood where you usually see it. #83 didn't cut it enough so I stepped up to the Menzerna IP, slightly better but still not perfect, I think the defects are in the clear and nothing shy of a respray will remove them.

Hard to photograph, but you can see some here:

Most of the trunk and pass rear fenders had what looked like water spots on it, they came out with the #83.

After 1 pass on the left side, right side untouched.

And another of the left side done, right side untouched

Next was a Strato Blue Mazda3 Sedan that was debadged, moldings removed and polished. . .

Next was the new GF of a repeat customer. I've done his Daily Driver, his old project Mustang and his ex's car.

When I got there, they told me that the front end had recently been repaired. I inspected the hood and saw the typical body shop buffer halos. When I clayed the car, there was red oversprall ALL OVER pretty much the entire front half of the car except where they resprayed it. Not sure why/how, most of it came out though with clay + buffing. It did not photograph well (the red overspray) as the paint has red pearls in it up close.

I asked if she wanted the door moldings removed. She looked at my car in person (had seen pics of it online) and decided that the Mazda3 looks better with no moldings (As do I) so I debadged (the side moldings and the "3" on the trunk) and removed the moldings

Enough talk, here are the pics:
