Red Mini Cooper Type-S Detail (56k No Way)

So this detail was for a fellow autopia member Euro. Overall the car was in great condition except for some minor swirling. First time detailing a mini for me so the curves along the hood were a little hard to get to with the pads that I had. For the most part I was able to take them out except for a few trouble areas that were noticeable under the sun. Anyways, heres the rundown



Wash w/ OCW

Clay w/ Zaino Z18 Clay

Zaino ZPC via Rotary w/ White Pad @ 1400 RPM's

Zaino ZPC via Rotary w/ Blue Pad @ 1100 RPM's

Clearkote RMG via Rotary w/ Black Pad @ 1000 RPM's

Poorboy's Natty's Blue via hand



Wheels and tires cleaned with 5:1 Ratio of Hi Temp APC

Tires dressed with Zaino Z16 Tire Gloss

Wheels sealed with Zaino ZAIO



Windows buffed with Zaino Z12 Glass Polish via Rotary w/ green pad @ 1400 RPM's



Plastic trimmed dressed with 303 AP on a damp cloth



Interior leahter seats got a light coat of Zaino Z10

The detail was pretty fast considering its a pretty small car. Took me about 4 - 5 hours ish, and that was including a lunch break!



I wanted to try out RMG w/ a Rotary since I used it w/ a PC the first time around. Seemed to get better results this way. The Rotary works it in a little bit more then what I noticed w/ the PC.



And I did mean OCW. Optimum Car Wash =) Haven't stepped up to ONR yet though. Stil have about a half gallon left before I run out. Once it's gone t hough I'm gonna have to give ONR a shot.

nice detail great looking,did u know any distributor of zaino product in hawaii?because i live in hawaii and want it to buy the products.
 
do u know where i can get a good vapor steam cleaner,or carpet extractor in hawaii,and by the way what is different between the two machine.

Sorry man, never did invest in one of those yet. Not to sure where is the best place to start either though
 
the car looks fantastic.

I'd love to work on one of those, the lines on the car look so smooth and flow very nicely...especially on the hood!
