Just got these today, anybody seen the red bottle before?

Wow! Ace sells the Klasse equivalent there! All we have at Ace here is maybe Meg's #9, Mothers paste Cleaner-Wax, Armor-All, not particularly exciting stuff like that.



Would be great if Ace would bring something "more exciting" over here.
 
Not seen the red bottle, have the yellow one here.



What is the liquid in the Red bottle like?



The Yellow is quite thin and white.
 
The Ace Hardware I think is Indonesia.

Cause in the label i can read kuning which is yellow and merah which mean read.

As far as I have been able to tell thus far, it's the same product in different bottles. I have no idea if one is a newer version of another or if it's just packaged at different places.

I've since heard of a blue bottle packaged as "Polylack" (polylack.com) and a Carlack product which is similar to SG. It'll be interesting if I can get my hands on those.
 
Any update on the differnces between the red and yellow products?



The red one seem to be a little thinner than the yellow one. Both has the same cleaning ability (maybe same as AIO but I never tried one :( ).



But the red one make the paint more deep in colour though. I use the yellow as a base for the red one as we dont have the polylack in here. The two combo looks really good though. Sometimes when I feel for it, I top it with final sealant that can be found in here such as Autoglym EGP or Wurth Gloss Seal.



Here is the photo of the combo 2x yellow as a base and 3x red as topper. Sorry I only have this section as it is my friend is the one that take it, as I dont have a digicam yet ( spend the money on detailing product :D )



It not very perfect but it is enough for me as it is a daily driver car:)

I just sent an email to car-lack asking what the difference is between the red and yellow bottle, if any. I will post the reply here when I receive it. I'm just curious to see what they say. :D
 
I talked to the carlack distro in indonesia before. He mentions that one of them suppose to give longer protection. If i am not wrong, its the yellow one.



And yes, that carlack comes from Indonesia

It sure relevant then. It what they said is true, then we must searching for a subtitute for SG as Carlack seem to have some cleaning ability (like AIO? :nixweiss )



But I give :xyxthumbs for Carlack yellow and red combo :)
 
Polylack is not what I heard to be similar to SG. I forgot the name now but they definitely do have an acrylic-based pure sealant.
