Recommendations for quality compound/polish and other products for my project

I've used this forum for a lot of research and I want to thank all of you for the giving a novice like me the info I need to detail my car.

I just ordered a PC 7424 Polisher, with the CCS 6.5" yellow, white, black and blue pads. The PC came with a backing plate and a counter weight. I already have a touch up paint pen and a clear coat pen from paintscratch.com.

What I want to do is touch up the scratches on the side of my car (black onyx paint), and the paint chips on the front end/hood of the car. Then I'm wanting to wetsand (with 2000 or 3000 grit) the areas that I've touched up and follow that up either either a compound or a good polish (or both?). Then a sealant or wax. What is a good pad conditioner that I can apply to the pad during the polishing stages?

Would you please recommend the products I should use that will yield me quality results but not be ridiculously expensive after shipping. I would really appreciate it.

Few more questions-

Also, would I need more of any of the specific color pads I've already purchased? Can I just wash and reuse in the same session? Do I put the clearcoat pen on the touched up areas after the wet sand/polish/wax or do I even need the clear coat if I'm doing all that after the touch up? What pads should I use with each detailing product?

Thank you!
