Soon I will try to restore the oxidized paint on my buddy's corrado. I did a little test on his hood since he won't be using it anyways. The paint is single stage red and as you can see it is oxidized. The process was as follows:
- two passes with IP on rotary and orange pad
- one pass with 360 on PC and white pad
- one coat of pinnacle souveran wax applied by hand
I don't have much experience with single stage paints, so I was wondering if you guys can give me some input on this. I personally think it looks great but maybe I can still improve on it. Here are a few photos...
