recommend me some OTC stuff for my friend

He is looking to start detailing, and I was trying to suggest some OTC paint products:



Here is what I told him so far:

Clay Magic Clay bar

Megs GC wash

ColorX



thats it so far. I was thinking about these products as well:

Long Haul Sealant

Megs #80

Megs #26 as an LSP



He will be doing this all by hand. Give me some more suggestions please

ok, I am trying to get him to get the Polishing Pal, since the Wolfgang one comes with 4 pads for $14.95.



What other products would you recommend for a beginner?

for my first detail i clayed and used mothers ultimate wax system. that being the pre-wax cleaner, sealer/glaze, and carnuba wax.



i was very pleased with the results.

for my first detail i used the megs deep crystal paint system, minus the lsp step. For the LSP i used megs gold class wax.



This came out OK, but i would tell him to get the NXT paste/liquid wax, or #26, and mothers power polish.



either get the showtime QD (mothers) or megs quik detailer.
