Recommend me a Beauty Wax, $50 range

I`m looking for something different to try. What`s your favorite beauty wax for $50-ish or less?

$50, because, that`s the point at which I think things start to drop off as far as bang for buck. $50 with sales or coupons is OK.

Swissvax Onyx sampler. It`s $30 they do have another sample for $50 I don`t remember what it`s called.

I agree with the blackice for $50 on acc but just checked and its finally not there anymore

I`d then recommend two separate Polish Angel sprays (100 ml variety) to try out

What do you have already in this category?

That would help!

I currently have (whether "beauty wax" or not) Lusso Oro, DoDo Blue Velvet/Purple Haze/Rainforest Rub (and many sundry panel pots), Victoria Concours, Bouncer`s Vanilla Ice, 915, 845, Pete`s 53, Natty`s Blue paste & liquid, Adam`s and CG Butter waxes, Griot`s BoS, Sonax Carnauba Care, most of the Megs waxes except 16, Mothers Carnauba, Zymol Carbon (but not used yet), and I also have sealants by CG, Poorboy`s, Sonus, Finish Kare, Klasse, CarPro, and Wolfgang.

I have tons of spray waxes and QD`s, so not looking for sprays at this time.

Anybody still a fan of P21S?

I`ve used both P21S Carnauba Car Wax and P21S 100% Carnauba Car Wax. Good waxes, you can`t go wrong with either. But I`d still go with Souveran :) It`s just such a nice wax to use.

The only negative thing i`d say about P21S waxes has more to do with the jar the wax sits in: P21S uses a container within a container design instead of single 1 piece jar. The problem happened when the lid on my P21S jar was cross treaded/ is jammed onto inner container part of the jar. But since you hold the outter container - when I tried to take the lid off - the inner container broke free from the outter container and the whole thing just spins in my hand. Hopefully that long winded explaination made sense!

One day i`ll break open the jar to use the wax again. For now I have too many other LSP`s to play with :)

DoDo Hybrid Nano - if you can get it on the applicator.... It`s got the top three beads of any paste wax I`ve ever used ( fk1000p, dodo hybrid nano, synergy)

Same complaint.. hope they fixed the problem.

For some reason I simply hated the way P21S looked on my Jag, especially compared to Souveran. It was maybe...I dunno..."too bright/reflective with not enough depth/jetting" (note those scare-quotes :D) and that was on metallic light gray too.

Guess I`d go with the Souveran, which always pleases me on every paint. Reapply at every wash though, it just doesn`t last.

Oh, and FWIW I let it flash off/dry/set up before I buff it off instead of using the usual W-O-W-O approach except when using it on black plastic/rubber trim.

You have all these waxes and you to add some more?..... I would, indeed, say you are "missing" Pinnacle Souveran Paste wax... but then it`s easy to spend someone else`s money.

My suggestion? Check "The Swap Meet" topic part of this forum and see what you can trade for. With the advent of coatings, many long-time detailers have waxes just sitting on their shelf being unused, collecting dust. Might be an opportunity for you to find some "used" high-end beauty waxes. OR someone might be reading this thread who have such waxes and will "Personal Message" (PM) you with an offer.

Now for the pressing million dollar question I and surely other Autopians are wondering: Of the the waxes that you DO currently have, what is your favorite (or favorites) and why??

.

Agreed. It is very bright, but not wax bright.

DP Max Wax, or it`s called McKee`s Trademark wax is quite good for the $. Quite similar to Souveran, actually.
I can`t quite tell a difference between the two, to be honest.
