recommend a heavy compound

Currently my polishes and compounds consist of SIP, PO106FF, PO85RD, XMT1. Im looking at getting a heavy compound cause SIP doesnt always get some of the scratches out. What out there has a heavier cut than SIP?



i was looking at HTEC and maybe Presta, but not sure how Presta is. Does Presta UCC have a heavier cut than SIP? How about Menzerna Power Gloss? or something else that i missed?
 
Are you looking to cut with mostly wool or foam? What type of paint?



I have found 3M's perfect 3000 series Extra Cut Compound to be a very amazing polish. It doesn't finish nicely (with out the aid of masking agents, what you see is what you get) as some of the others, but cuts very quickly.



But you will need to three step the paint in most cases if you use it.
 
plan on using this with foam pads either LC CCS or edge, i have both



i have a toyota, but depending on the car that i get. the heavy compound will probably NEVER need to touch my car.



ya i dont mind doing more steps. just want to be able to offer full paint correction, just cant do that with only SIP.
 
A great three step polishing system for your needs (by rotary would be)



3M Extra Cut (3000 series) Compound - use with orange, yellow, or various wool pads to achieve the level of correction you need...



followed by



Menzerna SIP with orange or white pad depending on the hardness of the paint and the correciton needed... This polish will remove most of the compound marring in one step and finish out very well...



followed by



3M Ultra Fina (3000 series) with LC white or blue pad (use white on harder paints and blue on softer paints). When worked by 3M's directions, this ensures a hologram free finish that is perfect and will not fill), similar to how some people finish with a PC to ensure holograms are gone. On harder paints you could subsitue 106ff if you had it, but I am weary because I have experience some long lasting, hard to removing, filling properties..

What if you go straight from compound to the last step?
