What are some reccomended waxes for BMW 3 series paint? How about applicator pads/buffing towels (microfiber), are the pakshaks good>? Is there anything that can remove very fine/light scratches on wood grain paneling? The car is new with Titanium Silver paint. Thanks!
Well there is no good wax for BMW paint, you can use the same product on a Kia as you could on a Ferrari. If you want pop, EX-P or UPP. If you want glow with good pop, I like 845 on silver. The search button is your friend.
Most interior wood has a thin layer of fairly soft clear over it. I just use very mild polishes and I usually quit long before I get it perfect as I don't want to have an "oops" from getting too aggressive.
While there are some waxes that look a little better than Collinite, most people (on most cars) don't see the difference and I like stuff that really protects the paint and lasts a long time. I use different stuff on all five of our silver (or close to that color) vehicles and it's not like any of them look like they have the "wrong" LSP on them, they just look different. FWIW I plan to use Collinite 476S on my Byzanz metallic M3 when I get to that point.
