Really Cold Out, Can I Still Polish Out Swirls

I know this is a stupid question, but since it is only 43 degrees outside today, would it be a bad time to start trying to get out swirls and polish, wax paint? I would think the cold might slow down the process of the material. I know it is supposely going to be in the 50's tomorrow. How long does it usually take to polish out swirls and apply VM and CMW? Thanks

With as mild a winter we have had in the midwest this year I have been out detailing my cars frequently, often when the temp is below 43 without problem. I've washed, polished, glazed, sealed, waxed, QD'd, while the temps are between 30 and 45 and other than my cold toes and fingers everything turned out OK.

I've polished in near freezing weather (Which wasn't supposed to happen, according to the forecast. :( ) and other than cold fingers and a bit harder to remove LSP, everything seemed to work out ok.
