Ready to Shine

I don't know what else to say till you explain what I am seeing in the pic. I would hate to think it might be what I think it is.........

This is what happens when you say...

Give me the car. I'll take care of it. Just give it.

You can not believe the dirt and grunge. It is bad.

I have the car cleaned up pretty good, and tomorrow you will have some great before, during, and after pics. I'm just too tired to do it tonight.

BTW, the vette is no different from all the rest. I just caught it with its pants down.

I picked the car up today and with my order they did not touch it beyond making sure it ran...

It's all good, no swirls, and other than the massive orange peel inherent in the GM line, all is good.

All these pictures are either with no wash at all, or with a simple wash. Tomorrow I wash again, then clay, then Zaino.

Night all, I'm beat. I'll start a new thread in the AM so ya'll won't have to wade through all these pics.

cybercowboy,

even dirty the vette is awesome. i will be looking forward to seeing your after zaino shots.

i know that if the car were mine i probably wouldn't get to wash it for the first week... it's hard to wash a car while your driving it and i know i'd put about 20k on it the first week just driving it around and saying "hey look at me", hahaha. :up

....By telling them not to touch your car. Better to be safe than swirly..

The car is looking great now, and will only get better after you detail it. It is worth every minute you put into it. CONGRATS! And post those pics!

Awesome ride Cybercowboy!! ......looks like its flying just sitting there. To echo DK, you did right not letting them touch it....my friend at work got a black one a few months ago and he is still struggline to erase the swirls left by the dealer. I wish I would have known not to let them touch it when I picked up my Tahoe a year ago. I am sooooo jealous.....such a fun car to drive!

sweet ride ccb

prevention is the key, guess we have to come up with some contract that tells dealers to not touch your car

anyone use it to leverage a lower cost?

Washed the car yesterday, drove it around. I used Z7. I also put on my first vette modification - a new air intake (Donaldson Blackwing - awesome!)

Washed it again this morning, and then clayed. If you saw how dirty this car was, you would have too!

Z1, then Z2. And you get...

I used the ultra-suede MT to polish the car after removing the Z2. It worked wonders at making the car glow. These pics just don't do it justice!!!!!! Time to shower, eat, and drive drive drive baby.

This cowboy says YEEEE HAAHHHHH!!!!!

CCB, looking at the vette pictures again, I think I like your driveway/garage/stone fence/lawn combo even better ;) Nice neighborhood.

When can I come over for a test drive :)
