OK, guys. Some of you claim to have swirl free finishes. I admire you for that....but how about sharing your knowledge with the rest of us.

From a previous thread, we heard all kinds of names for these swirls - milky way, etc. They are the kind that show up when the sun or parking lot lights hit your finish at night.

Please tell us how you get rid of these - products, application method, etc. - and keep them away...forever!!!

It's really impossible to write a post and say "This is the way to get rid of swirl marks" There are so many variables that enter into it the process can change. Like some swirls will require the use of a rotary buffer rather than an orbital. Level of abrasivness (products) can only be determined by how bad the swirls are. The type of pad needs to be determined by how bad the swirls are and what type of product you are using. Plus after all that, the expierence of the detailer makes all the difference in the world. So you see there is no "definative" answer to your question. In fact there are many answers to it, but it depends on your situation.

The best way to keep swirls gone is proper washing and drying methods, use good towels, and use QD's and Clay Bars properly.

Getting rid of swirls is a recipe of many techniques. Like Showroom said, it really varies from case to case. There are many recipes depending on what you are trying to accomplish. It would be like asking how to bake a cake. One could tell you that it would require certian things but it would all depend on what kind of cake you wanted to bake. I think we have covered swirls a lot on the forums but since each case is a little different then I would suggest posting the specific condition of the swirls you want to remove. Then some of our master chefs could whip something up to help get rid of them. :xyxthumbs

StopEveryone can rest assured that they are working on your orders.:hurray:

Last night I posted about my package had a bottle of BFWD that leaked. For some reason that thread can't be accessed right now which is why I'm not posting there.

Angelo called me this morning and is resolving the issue. He mentioned he was still busy in the warehouse pulling orders and that they are working from just one computer.:banghead: ~X(

Other forums I have read, when talking of the closing of PAC, have mentioned the great customer service and class that PAC has always had. That hasn't changed. Sometimes circumstances are less than ideal and I am sure they are doing everything they can to deliver to the best of their ability.:Car smiley::driving:
