1) How cold is to cold to apply a wax or sealant during the day?

2) And If applying a sealant that need's 12 to 24 hrs to cure, will the night time temps cause a problem with the curing process ?

My guideline, FWIW.
1. I try to only use a wax or sealant when the temperature is above 50 degrees.

2. I think colder temperatures would lengthen the cure times. By how much, I have no idea.

Day time temps in illinois are from low to mid 60's.

night time temps are around low to mid 40's

so in the evening it may take a little more time to cure because of the cold as long as the car doesn't get wet or exposed to morning dew then it should be ok right ? i want to get my car ready for winter, at night i'll keep it in the garage to keep it from getting any moisture on the paint.

Your plan sound just like what I would do. Seems to work for my AIO/UPP combo with no problems.

I think in 50-60 degrees weather the 24 cure time is standard . With sun hitting surface and 70 degree + temps , it would cure quicker and allow the 12 hour layer time .

Below 40* makes products a bit more tricky to work with.

I would apply products during the day time if at all poosible.

Can night time moisture and dew effect the products? Absolutely ...full drying and bonding may not occur properly which may compromise durabilty.

Yea, I was concerned about temp and moisture also this weekend redoing my wifes Liberty. Drizzling out and temps in the 40's. Enclosed garage so I wasn't worried about direct rain, but I was a little concerned about moisture and temp. I put one of my dehumifiers out in the garage and let it run all night. Stayed pretty warm and removed a good amount of water from the air. Did the same thing a couple times this summer with the stinking humidity here in Indiana.
