After some contemplating, I purchased this cordless D/A as the specs seemed like it was enough to do correction..
sorry in advance for links, this forum wont let me upload via computer nor retrieve from websites, I get errors both options, and hate using photobucket due to it being slow like molasses

Here`s what came in box

Due to it raining this weekend, I couldn`t do a proper test
This machine is suppose to be forced ratation? As I cant stall it with my hand like a normal D/A

I managed to do a quick test on a 2016 kia forte with light swirls.
6.5 low pro maroon pad and HD speed didn`t take out the swirls.
rain commenced..

I moved indoors and continued test on a test panel my bro made in first year HS autobody..

I fabricated marring/haze by turning the polisher on and letting the backing plate abrade the panel surface
I then did a couple section passes with maroon low pro and HD, speed, it reduced the marring, but didn`t take it away.
I then upped to Scholls S3 XXL and did a couple section passes. This took it away.

Heres the machine free spinning

Conclusion, It can correct, but it`ll take either more pad, more abrasive polish/compound, or combo of the two to get the job done versus a corded unit,
Its able to stall on panel.
the reasoning for this I think is due to not enough rotation speed!
Even if rotation speed was better and I had 4-6 batteries, I don`t think the machine could handle a complete car polish job as the unit gets hot just after a dozen section passes!

not sure if the unit would do any better if I purchased and Tried it with 5.5in thin pros or not
not even sure it`ll improve if I purchased the optional 3in backing plate with 3.5in thin pros..
just think the rotation speed is lacking

This would make a great wax spreader non the less, but as for polishing or paint correction, not good enough in my opinion

UPDATE
run time with 6.5 pad and only machine weight on panel only lasted 30 minutes, far cry from the advertised 80 minutes
on a side note, battery stayed full speed throughout the speed excluding the last 30 seconds or so prior to dying.

charging time is still pending
so far its been 1hr 50 mins and still ticking..

I saw this on alibaba but I decided on Griots. With the right pad some correction but mainly used to apply wax / sealant

Yeah, its on aliexpress too and another site where ive purchased it from for 100 less then RBL..

I chose it over the Griots due to battery run time and I like the polisher profile vs the buffer orbital style better
PLUS IT CAME WITH 2 BATTERIES

my intentions was soley wax spreader, but thought it had more potential of correction this the griots..
may use it with a MF bonnet to remove wax also

When I got my Griots it came in a pkg with 2 batteries. I did have to get a replacement, it started to sound like bearings were going but no problem they sent a new one with charger and battery .

Bump, returned this, still awaiting a refund
Was going to order the variable speed version of AliExpress...but it seemed to disappear :-(
I found an 18v cordless DA with variable speed(1300-3800) and better rotation.. 3800 vs 2800 of this machine ..but only a 2ah battery
So not sure what run time would be..
But if run time is 30 mins it could be better then both the RBL and the Griot/maverick
But still would just be a wax spreader due to run time

I have a makita orbital sander for my cordless. Some asian countries (koreans) in particular do simple corrections with the makita.

I am a noob and only do light polishing and does me ok on cordless jobs.

I also have a whole line of makita 18v Li line so for me spending 80 for an optional corless lite work was good for me.
