Autoglym is quite popular in many countries (for reasons of distribution (I assume) not as popular in the US and hence not spoken much in this forum), and I'd like to get more info from more experienced users of various products.

I'd like to get your input and experience about how you rate Autoglym polishes/waxes compared to the more popular products on this board.

1) What do use (Renovating Polish, Super Resin Polish, Extra Gloss Protection) and why?

2) When do you choose Autoglym over another product and why?

3) How successful do you find it?

4) How does it compare it to the what you would normally use? For example, using AG Paint Renovator instead of Menzerna IP.

I thank you for any input. :up

1) Most often when do use AG products i choose SRP, it cleans and protects as well as fills which is great on friends and families cars where they get swirled between my de-swirling sessions!! EGP is good as it gives a nice reflective coating, the new Aqua Wax is good too.

2) I choose AG b/c its easily avalible, i prefer to buy British then say german. The glass polish is good so is the glass cleaner spray, the wheel brush is good, the custom wheel cleaner is excellent. The Aqua Wax is easily applied, the bumper care is probably one of the best regardless of the condition of your blacks. The screen was is nice also.

3) The process is nice but dated. Waiting for 40 mins for the sealant to dry is a pain when some of the CG products can be applied and buffed and then you can go home. SRP is still unbeaten in my opinion.

4) I think paint renovator is bit more for restoring SS paint rather then using on a PC over the whole car. Their trade range has some products more suitable to that task, personally i have the SSR and Optimum range and they work out better. Nice results and less work.
