Thanks for looking,

Nice work Rasky

The bike looks great, now the owner knows what a swirl free Harley looks like :hurray:

Nice work as usual, Chad. What did you use, rotary? DA?

Harley's Vivid Black is the softest most miserable finish I've ever worked on. Swirl free brand new and right out of the box and UQD and the softest, plushest Cobra MF I have leaves marks. I'm on black bike # 3 with it..... guess I'm a glutton for punishment with dressers with a whole lot more real estate to polish.

I've had good results with PFW & M105 but I can't seem to get M205 to finish without micromarring no matter what pad or machine I use. Think next time I'll give IP and Ultrafina a try. The fiberglass finishes well but I always tear my hair out on the tank. :::shrug:::

How long did you spend on that Super Glide?

Hahaha. Thanks Nick. The owner had tried doing it by hand, which only made it worse which is visible in the one pic.

Nice work Rasky!!! I've never done a bike, but I'm looking forward to my first!

Thanks Bill. I actually enjoy working on bikes...lot less area and time. :D

Thank you! He had some nice mods on her and I really liked the pipes! Made me miss my bike. :(

I used a DA on her with 5.25" pads. The paint was indeed very soft! :scared:

SIP finished off pretty well by itself with only a very light haze, which PO85RD cleared right up. anytime I've gotten micro marring with M205, Menzurna has worked well for me, though M205 is still my goto polish. UF is another one that has always worked well too. ;)

I was using new Supreme Shine towels and didn't notice any marring from them, but a QD and light dust I could definitely see that happening on this paint.

I had a little over an hour on the bike. ;)
