Since I'm new to this forum I'd thought I'd share some of my work.

This is the 5th vehicle I have done for this owner now and this is actually the wife’s ride. Overall it wasn’t too bad. The exterior was average with only light to moderate scratching. We decided on a 1-step polish since it is a daily driver and white in color. Having kids the interior was a little dirty but still not that bad. The front drivers carpet had some areas of rock hard salt build up….I hate cleaning these spots! I was happy with the over all outcome.

So you are a fellow FLEX user. I assumed everyone I met there stuck to the rotary - PC combo.

Unless I need serious correction I always reach for my Flex 3401 first. :bigups

FYI, I actually started out on the rotary when I was 14 and used to laugh at the idea of using a DA. :D

Hi Jeremy! :howdy

I used Megs APC+ on the motor at 4:1. I let it sit for a few minutes and then rinsed off with a pressure washer. I washed the painted areas with a seperate wash mitt and used a brush in some tight areas. To dress the motor I used Megs Hyper Dressing at 3:1.

You should be able to get the same results with just about any APC and water based dressing. :bigups

So how long did it take you to complete this job? I have a '03 tahoe (tad smaller) and I takes me nearly all day (8 or 9 hrs).

I think I had about 12hrs in her. I had more time than normal into the claying as there was some "rail dust" or what ever those little rust specs are (I actually think they come from the brakes). The drivers side carpet also had to be scrubbed 5 times to get all the salt out, which was rock hard! :bigups

I also think I will be getting one of those Mothers Power Cones real soon...hand polishing those wheels sucks! :D
 
just out of curiousity what happen to the wad of cash in the cup holder in the before and disappeared in the after pic? lol great job on ur gmc yukon!
 
Also, (if you don't mind me asking)....how much did you charge for it? I have a friend who has a similar vehicle (Yukon), also white, that needs done. Thanks!

LOL. The cash was placed in one of the two bags I filled with junk from the interior.

Looks great! Hope the weather is much better then when I met people from Minnesota from Cayman Islands on my Spring Break and they said it was like 15 degrees and in the negatives a week before.
