Rant of the day!

So I spent 4 hours today detailing my 07 Tundra. The wife primarily drives it, and since she's a typical woman, she doesn't give a damn about the truck. I could spend 12 hours detailing (anything) and she'll have it "destroyed" in 12 seconds. :hairpull Anyways, I digress. I washed, dried, clayed, sealed and dressed the exterior, then vacuumed and dressed the interior. Afterwards, we took the truck down to Menards and she had a piece of gum she was chewing and decided she wanted to throw it out the window...of course I didn't have the lock on (which I usually always do) and she rolls it down and caused streaks everywhere...all that hard work to have it destroyed in 5 seconds!:grrrI know after she gets into it on Monday when she goes to work, there will be tea spilled all over and crumbs from her breakfast in there...why did I get married! :lol It's a lost cause...I guess I bought the truck knowing that she would drive it 90% of the time instead of my 3-series; last thing I want is her destroying that!:nervous2:

Tell me your rant of the day (or week, or month:p)

There's always going to be a love affair between a man and his car that women just don't get or try to understand. Good luck.:xyxthumbs

My rant is that it is frickin' winter and every still has their damn sprinklers running. And by running, I mean they water so much it FLOODS the street. :angry

Yes,and is it really necessary for a Burger King to have immaculate groundskeeping?

After spending 10 hours last weekend detailing a friend's car, what does he do? He takes it to the car wash today :wall even after I gave him full instructions on how to take care of it.

Scott, I would love to see a sprinkler running. In Massachusetts, if you don't have a heated garage then all of this polishing and waxing stuff goes bye bye for many, many months. It is currently 17 degrees with 8 inches of snow. I am very jealous of those of you who live in warm climates. Can you guys imagine not being able to detail your car from December thru March? Anyway, I never thought I'd say this but five years later, it seems that divorce was one of the best things I've ever done. I laugh when I hear all the jokes about how the woman is always right. Not anymore my friends, not anymore. :)

This is what women do. Be thankful she is not hitting stuff.

Just imagine how boring life would be if husbands and wives thought the same liked the same things, agreed all the time ,etc.

The say opposites attract, there's logic behind it.

Boy, I hear you on that, Scott!! Enough with the sprinklers, already. Summer is coming and the sprinkler costs 150 dollars a month when I use it. The sprinkler ends up feeding the weeds when it gets hot.

Luckily, my Girlfriend is a convert...she points out badly cared for paint as much as I do! Now, she has now desire whatsoever to actually take CARE of her car...that is obviously my job...but she is incredibly grateful when I do. She treads very lightly on her car when it is freshly detailed...even steering around wet spots in the street and avoiding dusty roads, and she laments the rain cloud and properly warns the service guys to "under no circumstances" wash her car.

I guess she'll make a good wife eventually!
