Rain-X Ultra Wax

Well I figured I'd start prepping my 16" Winter wheels and swap them with the 18" I'm running for warm weather.



Went to Pep Boys tonight looking for some Collinite (which they did not have) so I got this Rain-X Ultra Wax instead.



Says it's supposed to help repel sleet, snow, mud and rain. Wondering if anyone has tried it yet?



Bottle doesn't list ingredients but the label says it's got ploymers in it.

I tried it once. Looked just ok for a otc wax. Dusted a lot, in fact I never saw so much dusting from any wax I've used. It did seem to hold up well, sorry can't tell you how long it lasted because I used it a few years ago.

The second time I tried to used it I found it had separated in the bottle and no amount of shaking would get it to mix together.

Thanks for the info, I'm only going to be using it on my wheels though, maybe on the lowers and bumpers, but I'm satisfied with what I use on the panels now.
