Race Glaze results but man it wasn't easy./pics

I used 'Race Glaze Leveling Compound' on this KIA Sorento..
Then I used '3M Perfect It-Polish Glaze' (5996)-I love this thing.
Then I finished with 'Race Glaze Polish/Sealant'..
I had a hard time with this car today...man when I parked to take these pics..I saw a whole bunch of haze pad swirls..I freaked out..Thankfully I brought a MF towel with me as I was delivering the car to the owner..I buffed them out and lost about 2 litres of water doing that
---man the setting sun was hot..
Well those swirls came off-I figure it was a result of bad lighting in my garage area-where I was unable to see the final result and how much wipe down was needed...brother took my florescent lights last night-..well, sohow does it look...

You know..I don't know.
I parked it..wiped teh riad dust off it...walkedinto her office-gave her the key-she gave me the cash-and I went off around the shop looking and talking to other people..she left and I never saw her..I'll call her tomorrow and ask what she thought...;)

greatjob, but what about the tires? :crazy. such a deep black makes some undressed tires look rather faded :).

Well I cleaned the tires with Black Magic tire cleaner..cleaned them well..but I only had some cheap tire dressing that obviously didn't do it's work..
A basic flat clean dressing..I personally love using Megs Endurance Gel..But I'm not exactly charging TOP dollar to go ALL OUT..Besides..this is going to be given back to the dealer from what she told me, it's a lease so she trading it in very shortly..
She had a small scratch in the back end and wanted me to 'buff' it out..it almost completely disappeared..so the paint wa the main aim..

What do you guys use for the wheel wells and tires...on the customer end of course....

sorry if i had insulted you.... i mean, being a detailer is sorta hard, its just like how my band teacher says. if you play your part perfectly, people dont really care about it, but the time that you make a mistake on your part, everyone criticizes you. yea, for me its the same principle for tires. even if i do a fantastic job on the paint, im gonna face criticism for "brown faded tires".

its a hard knock life for us! hehe...

No..not insulted at all bud..
But that s funny you say that..
I was actually thinking the EXACT same thing as I was detailing the front end..
YA I spent so much time on the little things etc ..cleaned and vacumed her interior etc..but I said to myself..If I don't properly remove the bug splatter off the front end..she won't care about the clean dash in front of her..

BTW, I think you guys on here do GREAT work..and most of what I do and learn is thanks to the members of this board...
This board has a great atmosphere to it if I may say so..guys are cool-down to earth-no flaming etc...very nice place to hang-read and ask questions without getting the 'Nazi search police' on your post ;)
Thanks again...

Great Job Tarios!

It's a shame it was a lease turn-in. If it goes to auction it will sit out on a lot for 6 weeks then the auction lots prep shop will add swirls to it!
If the dealer buys from finance co. then maybe they will just wash and swirl there. I see this happen too often :ticked

I1 :)
