I can’t think of another person who has helped educate and advance our industry than Ron aka “Grumpy” Ketcham. He spoke from direct experience and logic, and was always there for a comprehensive discussion of things he was obviously so passionate about. His legacy in our industry will be long remembered and I encourage any and all to study each and every one of his posts. When I was the Moderator here, I took personal responsibility for unbanning Ron because of the prior administration led by DavdB was threatened by his opinions. He then continued to be as active here as he could. Ron joined Autopia back in March of 2001 and accumulated 3450 posts. He will truly be missed.

Thread 'Anybody from Northeast PA'

I need some help. I have a 4 month old Crossfire and I have 4 chips in my car already (three were my fault, rocks from a snowblower). And just today I came out from Target and low and behold, a shopping cart on my car. Two nice big chips with alot of scratchs along the side.



I tried langka for the small chips but couldn't get it right. There the size of a match head. And for the new ones, I don't even want to try.



Is there anybody from Northeast PA than can help me with this, or know anybody that will or can. Let me know. My email is grumpyg@adelphia.net.

I think it was more like he had little patience for people from outside of the industry trying to tell us/him "how things actually are" in the world of detailing products...and that made him grumpy.
