sso yesterday in new england the weather was nice, i had a mr dry i needed to use up . don't kill me guys =p but i applied the soap, used a mf mitt and the let let it dry. i have so much grit on my trim and on the fenders, i can't wait! but after i let it dry, i took my finger and rubbed it against the paint, there was still dirt. It's probably due to the fact i did this in 10 minutes, but if you do it correctly and take time, it should be very clean right? and my mf is so dirty, even after i put it through the washing machine, is this normal? thanks can't wait till i actually have time to do a full detail on my car .

Are you talking about the Mr. Clean Auto Dry system? If so then something in the soap does cause your mitt (or whatever you use to wash) to turn very dark (almost black sometimes). You can lessen this somewhat by rinsing it with the soap after each panel.

I personally don't care for the soap used in the Mr. Clean, it seems to leave a film on windows. You'd be better off just using a good car wash soap (with the two bucket system) and if you want you can still use the filtered rinse to lessen water spots before you dry.

yea my question is that the mf mitt is still fine right? i have nxt carwash and my entire set of AIO/ EX-P ready. i can still use that mitt even if it's sorta darkish rite..?

I'd carefully inspect the mitt and make sure there's no abrasive dirt stuck in it that might scratch your paint. I find MF mitts to be best used *after* you've used something else to get the worst/grittiest dirt off first. FWIW I use either a chenille mitt or a BHB for this (along with a foamgun :D ).
