Hello,



Just wanting to know a few things about DACP. Being it's a cleaner, I take it that it will remove Zaino when used with a PC?



Also, it's a bit more aggresive than FI-II.... correct? Finally, would a yellow pad be ok to use with it?



I only buff out the paint once a year on the car, so it does have swirls and a minor scratch here and there....mainly in the sealent level though.



I used the FI-II last year, and well it worked but took a long time ( talking days ) before I was satisfied so this year I am looking to up the ante a bit.

Yes DACP will remove all the Zaino.



I think DACP is just a bit more abrasive initialy, as you polish the abrasives in DACP will breakdown and leave the finish looking better than it would if you used FI2. On black you'll need to use a finer polish AKA swirlmark remover after DACP. If the yellow pad is a cutting pad, that's the one to use with DACP.
 
I would clay first, in my thinking if you don't pluck out those contaminated parts that you can't polish you might drive them deeper when polishing, just my anal retentive thinking:) . What color is the stang true blue or black I hope true blue, I give that color a thumbs up, I just seem partial to it:o can't imagine why.
 
True Blue - My GT is black :) My question was actually if you all thought I should remove the Z before I clay.
 
I don't think it matters either way, I always clay before polishing that seems the way most people do it here even with the Zaino on:up I swear that pic looks like their is tinges of blue, probably the sun and clouds looks good though. I thought about black then remebered if you breathe or look at black wrong it scratches:D So I went true blue. Later man
 
You can use DACP with a polishing or cutting pad. It depends on how much strength you need. Some people have gotten some minor hazing from using a cutting pad with it, but with this much cut it wouldn't be totally uncharacteristic.
