Quick Question

Clay won't always take wax off of your paint. I suggest using something like P21S Total Auto Wash to remove the old wax.

You are kidding about this?

That's what clay is designed to do, remove all that is on the surface of the car, wax is included in this

An aggressive clay will take it off but most of the clay you use won't take off wax. Clay is designed to remove embedded and surface contaminants..not wax.

Danase it absolutely right.

There really is no point at all in removing it anyways if your going to compound/polish. That first hit of compound/polish is gonna remove anything thats there in the first pass.

Calm down beemerboy... Different types of clay have different types of aggressiveness. Clay is designed to remove contaminants, not wax. However, aggressive clays may remove wax. Fine clays will not remove wax.

Ultra Fine clay normally will not remove sealants or wax.
